JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Bishop Kenny High School is no longer on lockdown.

Shelia Marovich, director of development at Kenny, said it was asked by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office earlier this afternoon to go under lockdown because of an incident in an adjacent neighborhood.

Officers were searching for someone, but did not offer details.

The school was to remain under lockdown until it was cleared by JSO. The campus was secure and everyone is safe, said Marovich.

Bishop Kenny alerted parents of the lockdown and when the lockdown was lifted by robocall.
