Old-fashioned, Hand-pulled Candy Canes

Sweet Pete’s, Jacksonville’s only all-natural candy shoppe, plans to help local families create sweet new memories with old fashioned candy cane pulls.  Peter Behringer, local candy expert and the “Peter” of Peterbrooke Chocolatier will teach school groups, scouts and families to pull their own candy canes.

Beginning November 16th thru December 14th families and school groups can book times to visit the new candy and chocolate shoppe to make their own candy canes with Peter.

Each person will learn the classic candy-making technique by pulling and shaping the canes.  Families will leave with enough all-natural candy canes to decorate their Christmas trees.  Participants will also get to choose the color and flavor of their candy canes which includes classics like peppermint, cinnamon and cherry and yummy exotic flavors such as real chocolate, key lime, banana and more.

“Sweet Pete’s is proud to offer a new holiday tradition that’s creative, fun and highly interactive,” said shoppe owner Peter Behringer.  “This is a great way for families and friends to get together before the rush of the holidays, enjoy a great experience plus get to decorate their Christmas trees in a very personal, unique way.”
