Art League of Jacksonville Uses Talent to Help Daniel Kids

Instructors from the Art League of Jacksonville donated their time and talent to give free one-on-one art lessons to 12 of the children being assisted by Daniel, Florida’s oldest child-service agency.

The children created decorative masks that were auctioned off at the recent Daniel Guiding Hearts Gala: Moonlight Masquerade fund-raiser.

“The Art League instructors took a lot of time and showed great care while working with these kids. It’s really great seeing another non-profit donating resources to help like this,” said Vicki Waytowich, Daniel vice president of operations. “The kids enjoyed having an opportunity to express themselves, and also felt a real sense of ownership, knowing that their work would benefit Daniel.”
