Coggin Toyota at the Avenues Announces Partnership with Wolfson Children’s Hospital

Jacksonville residents are invited to visit Coggin Toyota at the Avenues at 10564 Phillips Highway to help support Wolfson Children’s Hospital. In this inaugural Valentine’s Retail Partnership Program, Coggin Toyota at the Avenues, as one of several retail partners in the area, will donate $100 for every car sold, up to $10,000, to the hospital. The program, running through February 28, offers Jacksonville consumers the opportunity to shop for a new car while giving back to the area’s only children’s hospital.

In the midst of one of the snowiest winters on record for the Northeast United States, Visit Jacksonville launched an advertising campaign positioning the city as an escape from the cold in New York’s Times Square Plaza.  The 15-second advertisement will be on display daily every hour on the CBS “Super Screen” located at 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenues through April 30.

Average retail gasoline prices in Jacksonville have risen 3.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.07/g yesterday. This compares with the national average that has increased 2.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.11/g, according to gasoline price website JacksonvilleGasPrices.com.

Clink, clank, clunk!  That’s the sound more than 300,000 students throughout North Florida will soon hear as they pour their pocket change into collection jars to support Olive Garden’s 17th-annual Pasta for Pennies program benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) School & Youth campaign.  Last year, Olive Garden’s Pasta for Pennies collected $6.1 million nationally, bringing the total amount donated since the program’s inception to more than $53 million.
