Duval County School Board Recognizes Schools, a Teacher and Principal During Monthly Meeting
Schools

During the presentation portion of the monthly meeting of the Duval County School Board, Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals and Board members recognized schools, a teacher and principal for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Duval County Public Schools:

The following schools were recognized for receiving the Superintendent’s PTA/PTSA Awards:

  • James Weldon Johnson;
  • Mandarin High;
  • Neptune Beach Elementary;
  • Terry Parker High; and
  • West Riverside Elementary

 

  • LaShawn Streater, principal of Seabreeze Elementary, was recognized for being selected as the Duval Art Teachers Association- Principal of the Year;
  • Tim Kenney, district math coach and former teacher, was recognized for receiving the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching; and
