Photo Gallery | Douglas Anderson Students Honor MLK in Unique Way
Students in Douglas Anderson School of the Arts' Issue-Based Theatre class honored the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr., today by staging a Flash Mob Tribute to the values that Dr. King espoused.
The students of Theatre instructor Bonnie Harrison froze in place, then suddenly stood up and created a tableau that drew everyone's attention to their message. Each student paid tribute to M.L.K. in a brief but interesting way. The Flash Mob concluded with the raising of a banner, proclaiming "I Have A Dream," and invited all students to write their own personal dreams on the banner.
